The Grand Aerie has extended the 2012 Children's Art Contest deadline to March 9. The contest is open to children in grades 3-6. All children must be sponsored by a Fraternal Order of Eagles Aerie or Auxiliary but do not have to be related to a member to enter. The contest's theme is "Pride & Patriotism," encouraging youth to express through the medium of art what instills pride in their communities and patriotism for their country.

The F.O.E. racing season kicks off with a prime opportunity for our car to be seen by millions of hungry NASCAR Nationwide Series fans. The No. 30 F.O.E. Racing Chevrolet will be on the track for the Drive4COPD 300 Nationwide Series race at Daytona Saturday, Feb. 25. James Buescher is back in the drivers seat after placing second and ninth in the F.O.E. cars appearances in 2011.
Members are encouraged to throw a party at their Aerie home and tune into ESPN2 at 1 p.m. on race day to see the black-and-yellow F.O.E. car in action.
The F.O.E. racing logo will once again grace the Turner Motorsports fleet of Nationwide Series and Camping World Truck Series cars. Our emblem will be featured on the teams three full-time Nationwide Series cars and three-full time Camping World Truck Series trucks. In addition to the Daytona Nationwide race, the Eagles will be featured as the primary sponsor for two Camping World Truck Series races, where Buescher will once again sit behind the wheel. The 2012 Fraternal Order of Eagles Diabetes Research Center raffle calendar is now on sale and enters you for a chance to win $100-a-day, twice each day for an entire year. All proceeds from the calendars benefit the DRC. Each planner is designed to fit comfortably in your pocket and features a full calendar to keep track of Aerie/Auxiliary events, birthdays, appointments and more!
