Two Large DRC Donations Roll In
“Members across the country have continued their push to raise money for The Fraternal
Order of Eagles Diabetes Research Center in anticipation of the April 1 naming event
at The University of Iowa. In the last few weeks, $70,000 has been given to the
DRC from two very generous groups.
The West Virginia State Aerie has redirected $60,000 for the DRC while members of
Gillette, Wyo., Aerie #2711 have raised $10,000 for diabetes research through a
4-wheeler raffle.
Donations like these are the results of getting the message of this great cause
down to the grassroots level of our organization. This where it all happens - the
take charge - let’s Get-R- Dun . Hats off to all our Sisters, Brothers and communities.
We will help find that cure!
It is the generosity of others that continues to push the quest for a cure forward.
It is our hope that these contributions can help inspire others to do the same.
Nobody knows the true meaning of “People Helping People” better than The Fraternal
Order of Eagles!”
